Daralyn Jiron has been with Flat Wireless for almost 14 years and serves as the Controller to the company. She possesses a CPA license to add to her credentials. Prior to Flat Wireless, she worked at Alamosa PCS, as the Manager of Accounting. She has a combined total of 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Daralyn has extensive experience with auditing standards, and successfully implemented the Sarbanes-Oxley Act for Alamosa PCS, which was a billion dollar publicly traded telecommunications company. Daralyn also has tax preparation experience with individual, partnership, LLC, and corporate tax returns, as well as extensive financial statement preparation. While working at a CPA firm in Lubbock, she attended Texas Tech and graduated from there with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Upon graduating she went to work for the City of Lubbock as a Senior Accountant where she gained her experience with auditing, combined financials, and the presentation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (200 plus page report), which won the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting for each of the six years she worked there. Daralyn has been married to her husband, Mark, for 31 years and they have two daughters and a son. Daralyn loves riding horses and barrel racing, hunting, fishing, reading, and crocheting.
